How it works - High Road Capital
High Road Capital LLC — Program Details
High Road Capital currently offers 2020 and 2021 Peterbilt 579 sleeper trucks to qualified CDL drivers through our Performance-Based Ownership Program. This program provides a fair, transparent path to owning a late-model semi-truck without credit checks, down payments, or repair bills.
What We Provide
Trucks in the program includes:
-
A 2020–2021 Peterbilt 579 sleeper
-
Full maintenance and repairs

Carrier-provided insurance and fuel cards
-
ELD and dash camera

Drivers choose an approved carrier and operate the truck through that carrier.
How the Money Works
The carrier pays High Road Capital each week. Fuel, insurance, tolls, and other operating costs are deducted by the carrier. The remaining net revenue is then split between the driver and High Road Capital once the truck qualifies for the standard split.
Your Ownership Path
Drivers earn ownership based on how much profit the truck generates for High Road Capital:
HRC Weekly Earnings → Time to Ownership
$1,000 → 3 years
$1,250 → 2.5 years
$1,500 → 2 years
$1,750 → 1.5 years
$2,000 → 1 year
No credit checks. No down payments. No buyout tricks. Ownership is earned through performance.
Proving Ground (First 4 Weeks)
All new drivers begin with a four-week Proving Ground. This period ensures that the truck is being run consistently and professionally.
During the first four weeks, the truck must generate at least $750 per week for High Road Capital. Any earnings above this amount are paid to the driver. Drivers who do not meet this minimum may be removed from the program.
Ongoing Performance Requirement
After the Proving Ground, the truck must maintain an average of at least $1,000 per week for High Road Capital. Drivers who fail to maintain this average may be removed so the truck can be reassigned.
This standard keeps the program fair, stable, and profitable for everyone involved.
Standard Profit Split
Once the Proving Ground is completed and performance requirements are met, the remaining net revenue from the truck is split 50% to the driver and 50% to High Road Capital.
Carrier Flexibility
Drivers may choose any approved carrier. To protect earnings and stability:
-
30-day minimum per carrier
-
Maximum of 3 carrier changes per year
-
$750 transition reserve when switching carriers
Walk-Away Option
Life happens. Drivers may exit the program by returning the truck in operating condition and settling any outstanding balances. There are no debt traps or forced buyouts.
Who This Is For
This program is built for professional drivers who want real ownership, freedom to choose their carrier, and a serious path to building a trucking business.
